Dr. Sarah Clausner is a native of Saint Louis, Missouri. She was raised amongst various dogs, cats, horses, sheep, birds, and guinea pigs and has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a young child. After graduating from the University of Missouri, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 she has practiced small animal medicine in the Saint Louis area for the last 20+ years. She is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association, and the Feline Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Clausner enjoys most everything about being a veterinarian. She feels one of the most important aspects of general practice is fostering the human-animal bond between people and their pets. She strives to provide life-long individually tailored medical care to every single patient. She loves feline internal medicine and has maintained certification in “Cat Friendly” practices through the FVMA. Her additional interests include geriatric wellness, dermatology, and general dentistry. Dr. Clausner is happily married to her husband Rick and has a blended family of 5 children, 4 amazing sons and a lovely daughter. They like to spend time at home on their farm with their Boston terrier “Cotter” and French bulldog “Hazel Jayne”. She plans to have chickens and a pair of goats on the farm by this spring!
